As has happened in the past, in addition to discovering, reporting and seizing counterfeit Parlux products both during some industry events and at some points of sale both in Italy and abroad, the relevant office of the Milanese company has identified two Chinese manufacturers who were producing counterfeits of their own hairdryers, patented all over the world, including China.
The subsequent legal activities of Parlux, promoted to protect its rights, meant that in a relatively short time, the two important Asian companies, Wenzhou Ronggui Hairdressing Tools Factory and Zhejiang Starway Electric Co., Ltd. were ordered by the competent Chinese authorities to cease production of the counterfeit models, to completely destroy the related molds and to withdraw the aforementioned products from the market within a period of 30 days from notification of the provision.
These operations against counterfeiting, although often long and laborious, prove successful in ensuring that any counterfeiter and/or distributor of counterfeit products definitively desists from these illegal practices.
For this fact, great credit goes to Parlux which was the first in the hairdressing sector to start this battle.
