Chinese counterfeiters caught and convicted
As in the past, besides discovering, denouncing and destroying counterfeited Parlux products found during trade exhibitions and in some shops in Italy and abroad, the Parlux Counterfeited Dept. discovered two factories in China (Wenzhou Ronggui Hairdressing tools Factory and Zhejiang Starway Electric co. Ltd) producing and trading hairdryers patented all over the world, included China.
The resulting legal procedure undertaken by Parlux in protecting their patent rights, caused the Chinese authorities to intervene and in a short time, in ordering the two companies to immediately destroy the moulds, terminate the production and trade of the counterfeited hairdryers and the withdrawal of such products within 30 days of the notification.
These anti-counterfeiting actions, although very often long and laborious are achieving more success in persuading counterfeiters and distributors to desist from committing these illegal actions.
For this reason, great credit goes to Parlux, the first company in the hair industry that started this strenuous battle against counterfeiting.
